YOM TERUAH (DAY/FEAST OF TRUMPETS)Vayikra(Leviticus) 23:24 & B'Midbar(Numbers) 29:1Yom Teruah is observed in accordance to God's Torah on the 1st day of Tishrei which is the 7th month of the Biblical year. And it is to be a sabbath. Trumpets are sounded for many of Yah's feasts. On this day, it's sounded as a warning to all Yah's children to prepare for Yom Kippur. Ten days from Yom Teruah is Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). All children of Adonai will hear the sound and heed its warning. |
